Hi. My name is Zainal. Being an R3 enthusiast myself (yes…I’m proud owner of a Limited Edition Satria R3 - SR3 0123), I have grown to appreciate and admire what the team at Race Rally Research had done to promote the Proton brand. 

I was with Proton for over 12 years and for that period of time, mainly due to my passion for automobiles, eat, sleep and dreamt cars. Once I left the company, I wanted to do something more. So, together with some friends, I started a company called RACE. We started trading performance parts and at a time, we were one of the largest R3 parts retailers and we even sell products outside of Malaysia. By the way, we still do carry R3 products but not as much as we used to.

We have joined forces with some highly skilled ex-R3 members and have formed our own workshop called the RACE Performance Center (RPC). Besides building full spec race cars, we are now developing our own line of products and improving current existing products based on RACE's extensive involvement in the local motorsports arena. 

We have gone far, from just a driver for R3 in the 2007 R3 Waja MME to doing up cars and managing race teams for the 2008 MME. This year we are the technical and joint management team for a Honda Integra DC5 and a Porsche GT3. Talk about leaps and bounds.
